Cookies and browser storage we use
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. This site is deliberately light on them. We use the following, and nothing else:
- Essential: a session cookie set by our hosting and authentication platform so the site can serve pages and keep a session secure. This cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Shopping cart: your cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage under the key patio-style-cart-v1. This is necessary for the cart and checkout to work. It holds product names, chosen options and prices. It stays on your device until you clear it.
What we do not use
- We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies.
- We do not run third-party analytics or heat-mapping scripts.
- We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Because we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, there is no consent banner on this site pretending to switch off tracking that does not exist.
Third-party services
Product images are delivered by our image hosting provider, which may receive the technical request information any image request carries, such as your IP address and browser type. When online card payment is enabled, our payment processor will set its own cookies during checkout under its own policy.
Your choices
- You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing the cart entry will empty your cart.
- You can browse and purchase with cookies blocked, but the shopping cart will not work.
- You can send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. We honour GPC where it applies; as we do not sell or share personal information, it does not change how we handle your data.
